Your employees should feel safe when they come to work each day. You are legally responsible for making sure that safety procedures are followed. This is not something that should be taken lightly when it comes to your business. There are different ways your employees need to feel safe besides just physically, so talk to human resources to cover all your bases.

All employees should be well-trained on safety procedures. Accident prevention should be a top priority in the work environment. When working with hazardous materials, have every person in the proper attire. Lockout-Tagout procedures should be in place, and a valve lock should always be used.
